Shuttle services from DIA to Estes Park are available, however UBER, LYFT, AND TAXI SERVICES ARE NOT AVAILABLE ONCE YOU ARE IN ESTES PARK. We highly recommend renting a car to travel to Estes Park unless you are planning on walking to the venue. Estes Park does operate a free shuttle service with the Elk Meadow Lodge & RV Resort Bus Stop just a 3 minute walk from The Landing. However, we cannot guarantee the proximity of a shuttle stop near each guest's residence. Please carefully check the Estes Park Shuttle Buses website for more information if you are hoping to use this service.

UPDATE: Some taxi providers may be available. This weekend will be especially busy in Estes Park so we do not recommend relying solely on these services unless you are able to schedule in advance:

  • Rocky Concierge Services - (970) 402-6603

  • Explore Estes - (970) 235-1156

If you drive to the venue and do not feel safe to drive home, please find and speak to Marissa Rebozo who will be able to help coordinate a ride on this shuttle for you!

Once You're There

Once You're There

Estes Park is a picturesque mountain town situated just outside the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Early September is an especially wonderful time of year with highs typically in the 70s, but don't forget a jacket as weather can change quickly and temperatures drop substantially at night.

Estes Park will be especially lively, as our wedding falls over the same weekend as the Scottish Festival! The festival runs from Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 8. Tickets are available for purchase on the event website! Please factor in this extra activity when considering transportation and travel time to the venue.

The main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park is just 2.5 miles from The Landing, offering spectacular views, scenic drives, hiking, alpine lakes, and wildlife viewing. Estes Park and RMNP is home to around 3,000 elk with early- to mid-September marking the beginning of the rut. Drive Trail Ridge Road up to 12,000 feet, or take the Bear Lake Road Corridor to the Bear Lake Trailhead for a short hike to spectacular alpine lakes. We recommend checking if RMNP requires vehicles to reserve an entry time online before visiting the park, as Timed Entry Permits are sometimes required during the high-season.

You don't need to enter RMNP to enjoy the beautiful scenery and outdoor activities; hike, fish, rock climb, or bike in the town of Estes Park!

For a more laid-back day, stroll through the charming downtown area lined with shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Estes Park is also home to incredible landmarks like the historic Stanley Hotel, known for its grand architecture and the inspiration behind Stephen King's 'The Shining.'
